Thanks for the update.
Seems to work fine. 
I couldn't use the patch I got some time ago from you
to repair some odd slowness under certain circumstances.
However, the 2.8 does not seem to suffer from this. It's almost as 
speedy as the good old 2.5 was.
Only Chris's grep needs a recompiled dialog.mac.
When will we see that coming?
