Perhaps the direct question was, but the thread covers both and they are
related as well. What's interesting is Bush is supposedly purposely sending
manufacturing jobs overseas (to hear Kerry rhetoric), especially to China,
yet their manufacturing jobs are declining as well and at a greater
percentage. Gee, do you think it could be productivity progress playing a
bigger part than anyone (including Bush) wants to admit?
