I would still think there would be a lot to worry about if it were to
hit the ocean. But if it did hit land, most, if not all of the earth's
population will perish. Plants can't grow without sun. Even if
artificial light was used, there's no way we could provide enough for
all the farms needed to support life here on earth. How will the
weather be affected? We would have a "nuclear winter" since not enough
light will remain to keep the planet warm.
It would pretty much be all humans for themselves.
