and I did, thanks for the help, I copied some of yours changed some
bits and was up and running inside a couple of hours

I,ve set the blue wave mailer so that when you hit alt t you go 
straight to Telemate, do the biz with the mail packet then go
back to the mail reader :-)
I am really impressed with the Telemate script language and am 
grateful for your help :-)
