You might want to check the BIOS setting at boot up on the T23 - I don't 
know this for a fact, but there could be options in the hardware to say 
whether to access devices in the docking station or not.

I was interested to hear that there's a PCI slot in the docking station 
- presumably this is a low-profile half length slot ? Good for 
multimedia add ins though I guess.
