Probably. Certainly his run in 2000 destroyed his reputation among the
left, which up to that time was somewhat mixed, nonetheless also
considerable.  Now he
has been abandoned by everyone, even the Greens.  It certainly is the nadir
for Nader.

He is supposed to announce whether he will run again this year on Meet the Press
tomorrow.  The betting is that he will announce he will not run. Even if he
should run, without a party organization and no money, he would be unlikely
to even get on the ballot in most states. Consequently, his running would
not have the affect it had last time.
