I went to the wildlife wholesale market yesterday which was also the
saddest day since I came here. The stench, fur and dust in the air and
howling of the animals hit you as you step in. There are rows of rusty
cages packed with animals. Snakes, bugs, huge dog-size rabbits
(artificially injected with hormones), turtles, porcupine-thingies, all
types of birds, lizards, cats, dogs as well as endangered and protected
species are on sale as food.
