I have no misgivings or misunderstanding about the definition of "free" in 
the context of cellular phones. If they were literally free I would ask for a 
truckload of them. I understand there is no charge directly attached to the 
phone itself, however it does have strings attached in the form of a service 
aggreement. There is nothing to beware of if you agree to their terms. If it 
were not for that type of deal, I still would not own a cell phone. They 
brought me in as a customer and I'm sure they know how.
