conference.  If so I apologise for being off topic.  But what the
heck,this mode of communication is one of our few tiny windows on the
Whole World, n'est-ce pas? I want to hear more of the history and
present practice of the Internet on your tiny, very civiized island in
the Atlantic.What is the proper venue for such a  discussion?.
