While we're talking amps, has anyone (Duncan?) heard the 20w Parks?  I'm
checking the schems in the Doyle book for ideas for my Classic 20.  It
is said the Marshall 18's sounded better than the 20's, largely due to
an extra gain stage.  As I don't want a 2nd channel, I can use it for
addtl gain.  So here I sit with 2x12AX7, 2xEL84.
The Parks are single channel and make use of the extra gain stage.
Ideas?
