The problem has been found.......
It is my Zoltrix-modem having a Rockwell chip that does not decompres
properly in the UNZIP.DLL case when acting in the MNP-mode. V42b does it
properly.
All in all it was the first time in 4 years that this modem gave me a
oblem.
