1237aafce810 tech Hello Robert - CA>>> The 'robin in spring' and the 'jeep in a ditch on it's CA>>> side' were harbingers of the seasons. Why everyone is so CA>>> shocked that SUVs mimic their siblings is beyond me. Tall CA>>> vehicle, narrow/short wheelbase = flip. Simple enough. ;-) RS>> Again, it depends upon which SUV's you mean. Even my RS>> friends king cab Chevy truck is an SUV. CA>> Sorry, I thought my reference to the 'jeep' made that CA>> clear. I'm referring to the 'jeep wannabe's' out there. RS> But SUV does not make that clear. YOU know what you mean, RS> but a casual listener may not. All they'll likely hear is RS> SUV. Next they'll be chanting: down with SUV's (some RS> already are) and then the next thing you know, station RS> wagons and trucks are outlawed. RS> I was going to add a disclaimer about this being an RS> exaggeration, but it's really not that much of one. In a more perfect society where the automobile as a potential weapon was taken seriously we would prosecute more vigorously those persons who by their aggressive use of a larger than required vehicle caused death or injury. Frankly, some people drive these things intending to use them as a 'weapon' to clear themselves a path knowing others might be seriously injured or even die. When I had my chauffer's license I was told by a judge that along with the privilege of driving larger vehicles came additional responsibilities to control that vehicle and not endanger people in normal passenger vehicles. I don't hear anyone mentioning that fact to owners who really have no need for a 'truck' but use it as a weapon. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
