G'day Bob,

Replying to a message of Bob Lawrence to Jeff Green on 24/05/97:

JG>> I used to like tin. I also liked trn. These are news readers. I
JG>> used elm as my mail reader for a while. Yes! That's right, two
 JG>> seperate programs.

BL> ROFL!! And Paul says Fido is fucked....

They're both fucked in my opionion, but like Microsoft OSes, they're the
standard that most people are using, so you'll have to suffer with their
inadequacies.

BL> I've decided to give Fido the flick. I'll continue to use BlueWave
BL> and Tinypoint for Fido mail, and write a TinyNet in Delphi to replace
BL> that, rather than gating one to the other.

Fido does not sound as if it's going to be fun for much longer. The
rumblings in Zone 3 will die down as most people don't like confronation.
They'll all knuckle under to the new Hitler and do as THEY ARE FUCKING
TOLD!!!

Zone 1 sound as if it's going to become a dictatorship also :-(
