I am a communications systems tech for the City of Tucson in Arizona.
My primary R/C hobby is paved oval Nascar racing with a little dirt tracking
once in a while.
I waited patiently for someone else to step in and make arrangements to
keep the Elist going and nothing happened. With the posting last week that
this echo would be removed from the Backbone as of 1 Nov I decided to take
action.
I have been a Fido node since the late 80's and did not want to see our
only
Radio Control echo go away. I sent a direct netmail to Marge Robbins, went
out
in Fido and freq'd the Elist & Backbone info files, composed the required
Elist update and submitted it to the Elist Coordinator. The update was
accepted and the new Elist will be published on 1 Nov.
Dave
