Hi,
 
I just discovered that I would have to change the region setting in order
to view some dvd's my sister sent me. My drive came by default set to
region1.she's region 2.(uk)
 
How come if we live in a global village we have these tribal restrictions?
 
Apparently I can change the region 4 times, after which it sticks at the
last one to which it was changed. If it ends up being the wrong one, your
drive is toast!
 
Are all drives constructed this way. There is always some guy in Norway or
where ever that figures a way around these things. So Sven are you
listening?
 
At imes like this I understand....Going Postal!. Do we realyy need to be
tortured this way?
