I'm running Slackware, started with 4.0, then went to 8.0 (I have 7.1 here but skipped it entirely) and recently upgraded to 8.1. There are a few things that I have not quite got working yet the way I want to, but overall I'm not doing too badly with it. YMMV, and if you're a GUI-oriented person there are probably others that would be a better choice for you. Maybe the LINUX echo would be a better place to gather opinions on this? :-) ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
