Hi Guy..
'3' is your connect speed - 300 baud. Somehow, the connection must have
re-trained DOWN to 300 baud and then dropped carrier. Sounds like your
modem is having trouble getting along with the ISPs modem. If all else
fails, go back to an earlier BETA that worked.
