Actually, I prefer the relative calm in this discussion.  Of all the
scanning-related forums I subscribe to and read, this one definitely
has the highest "signal-to-noise" ratio.  I certainly have culled
more useful and interesting information from ScanRadio than any other
single networked source.  And things are still that way today despite the 
'net.
I find I have little patience with the relative anarchy of the USENET 
newsgroups.  Not that rec.radio.scanner or other newsgroups can't be useful, 
but I'm busy and I don't have time to wade through all the
"noise" in the newsgroups.  Oh well, whatever works for ya.... 
I don't think this forum is anywhere close to dying.  And I'll try
to do my part to make it interesting now and then!
