Oh, no problem......in fact, it has turned out quite benifical as I see Lynn 
Nash has posted an explantion on how to get a clear desktop without 
minimizing all open apps.  Right now I use Object Desktops virtual multiple 
desktop(s) to get a quick access to a clear desktop but will have to give 
Lynns method a try too.  Thanks for the input on this Wayne.....will talk to 
ya later.  :-)
