Dr Dobbs (around March or April this year) compared current C++ compilers,
almost every one.
And what is "good" for you s the function of what you want to do. I
personally use MS Visual C++ 4.0  (just opened the 5.0, no experience yet)
and I found it good. But rather expensive. To just learn C++ a simple BC 3.1
will do. To develop some kind of applications you must go in details.
