I'd try to come up with some other video card. Even Linux & doze don't
do particularly well with those cheapies. People have been dumping nice
old Matrox cards on eBay for cheap.

None I've encountered do. What does your motherboard manual say, or if
you don't have such a critter, Gateway's web site?
