AA>That seems to happen more often on one of my pcs. When that happens, a quick AA>movement of the mouse "wakes up" the screen. August, I tried moving the mouse, pressing a Shift key while the screen was dark the times it happened, but just had to wait for the computer to send something to the screen. Jean made a test and didn't see the same thing I did, so last night I turned off the monitor as the XP box was hibernating and when I turned it on today I didn't get a dark screen. I guess it's just that wierd things happen to me and not to others. AA> EV> Last week I turned the monitor off just after I pressed the Power AA> EV> button on the computer, while the Hibernating process was being done. AA>That should make no difference. I often start the Hibernate and power the AA>monitor off immediately while the Hibernate finishes in its own time. Thanks for answering my message.
