SB>Yeah -- there are all those people interpreting everything about the
SB>Aztecs and the Mayans. It's downright disgusting at times.
what's disgusting is that none of them are aztecs or mayans...
SB>I researched Nostroamus once. I took a book from 1910 that interpreted
SB>his prophecies; and another from 1980. Then I checked the same
SB>quatrains, and found totally different interpretations. It's all in the
SB>eye of the beholder, I think.
nostradamus is a cash cow. because he hadda be especially cautious due
to the seditious libel laws at the time, anybody can read almost anything
into his work. so if i have connections & wanna publish a book, well... ;)
SB>RR> lore. but what of other NAs? does any oral tradition survive?
SB>
SB>Lots of oral tradition survives. The problem is: you probably aren't
SB>going to find anybody who will tell it to you, even if they happen to
SB>know it.
all too true. but i couldnt blame them fer that. they dunno whether i'm
gonna turn into one of those fake mayans or aztecs & write a book! :D
