Jean Parrot -> BOB KLAHN said.. JP> ..I need a MoBo that can be awakened by a LAN call, my MoBo JP> misses the connection to receive this. I was wondering how you fared with that. There are several pre-requisites for wake-up-on-lan to work. One.. you mobo has to support it. Most modern mobos do. Next, you have to configure your router to be wake-up-on-lan aware. Some routers have the feature configurable directly, but alternatively you open the port manually and make sure the WON signal goes to the appropriate pc on your local network. --- Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 (Windows/20100228)* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
