That seems to happen more often on one of my pcs.  When that happens, a
quick movement of the mouse "wakes up" the screen.

 EV> button on the computer, while the Hibernating process was being done.

That should make no difference.  I often start the Hibernate and power the
monitor off immediately while the Hibernate finishes in its own time.
