-=> Quoting Walter Luffman to Ross Sauer <=-
RS> There's this ad on TV for the new Pontiac Trans Am, where a black
RS> Trans Am eats a red sports car in front of it.
WL>
WL> Like an urban panther going after a cardinal....
WL>
WL> (For the record, I do not condone permitting pet cats to
WL> hunt birds. But if a cat is allowed outside, it _will_
WL> do what comes to it naturally.)
Of course.
RS> All cats are liberals, they expect everything handed to them.
WL>
WL> How about farm cats? They certainly earn their keep.
Yes, but have you ever seen them following a farmer with a bucket of
cream, begging?
Even farm cats are liberals!
RS> I wish I could see a picture of Rush's cat.
WL>
WL> So do I. Rush has said that he has declared a
WL> no-publication policy for photos of Punkin, to discourage
WL> catnappers (he has a similar policy regarding photos of
WL> his stepchildren), but I think he was kidding (regarding
WL> the kitten, not the stepkids).
WL>
WL> BTW, he mentioned Punkin again today. The big lug's a
WL> pushover for a pretty feline face, just like the rest of us!
Some aren't, like my father.
He hates cats, not to the point of wanting to kill all of them, but he
just doesn't ever want them around.
RS> I did see a picture of Pat Buchanan with his big longhair, "Gipper."
WL>
WL> I didn't know Buchanan was a cat-person too! And of course,
WL> long before Buddy Labrador there was First Cat Socks. There
WL> may be hope for the world yet, if people with such disparate
WL> political views can at least agree on cats as pets! (And
WL> that's as much as I care to say about politics in this echo!)
Did you see the news video of Buddy being "introduced" to Socks?
Boy, was Socks ever PO'd!
Maybe she saw the dog's butt and thought it was Newt Gingrich!
