And yet others (including myself) do. As I posted earlier, John's more
'grovelly" voice stands out over the two. No huge surprise there.
Listen to John's double-tracked vocal on "No Reply" and compare it to
the two unison voices in the verse sections of "Every Little Thing."
Hopefully you'll hear the differences in the tone quality.

Also note that after the two sing in unison, they split off into
harmony during the choruses. Far easier and efficient, recording-wise
back then, to have both sing the song together throughout the length of
the track. As they do here.

>3.  Name a John song sung by Paul. Or a Paul song sung by John.

During the 1/69 "Get Back" sessions, Paul sang portions of John's "I'm
So Tired" and John sang portions of Paul's "Get Back."

We've already mentioned Paul's solo moment in John's "Love Me Do." Then
there's Paul singing John's "shoulder" line in Paul's
"Jude." Or John's
voice standing out when both sing "in summer" in Paul's
"Penny Lane."
But the larger point is that it's a moot challenge. We're talking 1964,
when both frequently sang songs together, songs either written by both
equally or one more than the other. "Every Little Thing" falls into the
second category.

The bottom line is this, as it evidently bears repeating for the 5th
time: John says Paul wrote the song, with minimal input from John. Paul
says Paul wrote the song, but he didn't mention John's input. One can
argue 'til the cows come home that both are "mistaken," but in this
case, the primary source evidence is awfully tough to challenge.
