I've owned and used TSE Pro for DOS since the beginning of TSE Pro's =
life, however for the last year or so I've spent 99% of my time working =
in the unix realm. I don't suppose there's a chance there's a port =
planned any time in the not too distant future? If there isn't a plan =
for one, is there a chance you'd consider contracting with someone =
(possibly me) to work on such a port?
I don't mind using VI.. kinda like it (call me sick), but I still miss =
tse.. though not enough to setup dos emulators.
Later,
Brad
[Andrew Logan] I also use UN*X quite a bit. There is a free program =
called Samba availible on the internet. This programs allows DOS, =
Windows and NT machines to see UN*X drives over a network. I use TSE =
Pro32 on my PC under NT to edit my files under UN*X. TSE automatically =
recognized the different text format on existing files. I suppose if I =
was really serious I could write a macro to know if it was the UN*X =
drive and use that text format. I would have a very difficult time doing =
what I do with TSE with VI.
To install Samba you must be the system administrator.
Take it easy... A.L.
