I nominate Davey "Daffy" Johnson as Yankees MVP for 1996.  Johnson has given 
away at least three games to the Yankees this season by mishandling his 
bullpen late in games the Orioles led.  His insistence on bringing in Randy 
"Real Closers Don't Throw Strikes" Myers in one-run games also earns Johnson 
the "Rodentbrain Award", named in honor of Frank "Rodentbrain" Robinson, who 
cost the Orioles the 1989 Eastern Division title because he never learned 
from experience how to handle Bob Milacki and the bullpen in close games 
Milacki started and was still pitching in the ninth.  Johnson has been the 
biggest Oriole disappointment this season.
