LK> Do not confuse "hard" with "tough". Hard substances are generally pretty
LK>frangible. Epoxies can be tough OR hard, but not both.
LK>Steels same same. Files are hard but brittle. Hammer heads
LK>(the tools) are less hard, and tougher. They are still
LK>quite hard and thus CAN chip. Cheap Korean screwdrivers are
LK>tough. Snap Ons are hard. Snap On tips just crack off if
LK>over torqued. They do not (generally) round off. Cheapies
LK>almost never chip or crack, they simply wear and bend.
Ever notice people tend to be like that, too? The hard one's
won't bend, but they break if pushed too far. Add in "old
reliables", "glitzy", "big bores", "fast burners", and
"wimpy little things popular with some small men and ladies" and
you have a fairly close description of a lot of personalities in
the D.C. area. Firearms; a microcosm of our society. :-)
