CJ> large scale flying model which meets the following specifications
CJ> is in existence or could be constructed for under $30,000. The
CJ> craft would have to meet the following specifications:
CJ> 1. The craft may be either fixed wing or helo. However, it
CJ> should be smaller than nine feet in diameter or wingspan. It
CJ> should be able to carry a payload of up to ten pounds in addition
CJ> to the video camera which would be required to transmit remote to
CJ> my receiver so that I could pilot/guide it via my video receiver.
CJ> Naturally it would require an advanced radio control mechcanism
CJ> which would be necessary for me to adequately control its
CJ> manuvers pursuant to the images which I would be receiving from
CJ> the video camera/transmitter. The craft would have to have a
CJ> cruising range of 20Km or 12.4 miles. Naturally, it would have
CJ> to be designed to carry a sufficient amount of fuel to meet this
CJ> specification. once airborne, the craft should be able to reach
CJ> a maximum speed of at least twenty (20) miles per hour. It
CJ> should be highly manueverable and the video transmiter should be
CJ> able to transmit clear picture from at least ten (10) miles away
CJ> to ensure proper navigation. An internal compass or navigational
CJ> aid would not be required.
CJ> 2. If a comparable craft current exists on the market, I would
CJ> be very interested in learning where I may obtain one and what
CJ> price I could expect to pay. However, if such a craft is not
CJ> readily available, I would be interested in learning if such a
CJ> craft could be manufactured and what costs would be associated
CJ> with such production. I would also be interested in any
CJ> legitimate bids for production or offers to sell. However,
CJ> simply placing the necessary remote (radio/video) control
CJ> mechanisms in a existing craft designed for a human pilot is
CJ> unacceptable. The craft should be relatively small as specified
CJ> above. I look foward to any legitimate responses to this querry.

Just who are you mad at? The range of the radio and the payload are two
items that take this beyond the scope of most modelers. Try Nasa?
