subject: Tutorial for Power Basic

Lawrence,
There have been several requests for a book on PowerBASIC, and I
would like to see one too. Unfortunately, I don't think there would be much
sale for such a book here in Australia as PowerBASIC is only handled by two
firms, and they do not advertise in the computer press.
At a recent swap meet, I found a pile of copies of a book on
TurboBASIC. I asked the stall-holder why he was selling a book for a piece
of software that has been superceded for many years. He said there is a
steady stream of customers asking for it. It seems there are a lot of second
hand copies of TB still in circulation.
Perhaps there is a message there for PowewrBASIC, Inc. to look at the
potential sales in this country again, with a well priced trade up offer.
        Interesting?
                        regards, Alan.
