Hello Christopher!   I am in the USA, Milwaukie Oregon to be exact.  I
assumed the BBS tagline had more info in it than it does. 
 
Well the upgrade to 56k is free, but they are charging me $7 shipping
and handling charges...they will be sending me a postage paid box to
ship back the old modem in.  Still need to call and find out when they
will ship it, just checked my August credit card bill and no $7 charge
yet so they have not shipped it yet for some reason.  Glad I still have
the old 33.6 until they ship me the new one.
  
How is yours working for you?  Any bugs or hangs?  Thanks!
