The main problem is finding out what you are getting, I think. I was
able to check the chipset of the controller before buying, and knew
that it was supported by the Danis506.add. If you can check that detail
before parting with you cash, you've got a good chance of getting
something that will work.

As a first step, check the documentation that comes in DANIS506R174 and
see what chipsets it recommends.
