Hi,
While I do not use AMD cpu's, I do use Asus boards entirely. I have never had
anything like the problem you are describing with Asus Pentium boards.
That is not to say that Asus does not have a problem on occasion, they all
do. Friends of mine who do use AMD and Asus here in Australia don't have
the problem you report either.
It is more likely the fault is on the connectors from the power supply.
If so, you should be ranting at the power supply manufacturers, and not
Asus.
Just my 2 cents.
