Dear Mr Rod Speed,
                 I take it, by your earlier messages to Sean
Bennetts, that you don't believe in Alternative Medicine,
Wicca, Voodoon, and hence Christianity. You seem to be someone
who needs to have facts and figures before he'll believe anything.
Science (in reference to your double blind trial methods you
often mention) comes from Alchemy. Alchemy was once refered to as
being garbage and without merit, as you are saying to Sean concerning
his Naturopathy and Homeopathy, and yet without Alchemy we would
not have todays Science. Lode stones were once thought to be
Magickal and yet today we understand that Magnetism is one of the 
basic laws of the Universe.

 My point is that just because something can't be explained to a
certain degree, doesn't mean that it isn't real or doesn't work.
Magick, as in the sense of real Magick and not illusion, isn't
something that regular Science can explain but it's been around
and been in use now for thousands of years. Although, I've noticed
that Quantum Physics is making a good effort of explaining such
items of note such as E.S.P., Telekinesis, Astral Travel, and other
"Mystical" abilities.

 I say "Mystical" because these abilities are REAL. They CAN be done,
and you DON'T need any great qualifications to do them.
All you need are Will, Perseverence, and Belief.

E.S.P. has been tested and proven.
Telekinesis has been tested and proven.
Astral Travel has been tested and proven.
Magick is slowly being explained and put in formulae by Quantum
Physics.

Everything in the Universe consists of Energy.
The human mind uses energy all the time.
Energy has been proven to be a force that can be directed to go
along a preset or designated path. SO, why isn't it plausible that
the Human mind can also direct energy, that it normally wastes, to
outside the human brain to interact with the enviroment and cause
change TO that enviroment.

Getting back to the Naturopathy and Homeopathy.
Science, Medicine to be particular, extracts ALL its ingredients
from Nature. Whether it be as simple as picking an Apple off a tree
and eating it because a Dentist says it helps clean your teeth, to
extracting a chemical component from a plant off in the Amazon
Rainforest, it all inevitably comes from Nature.
Naturopathy and Homeopathy simply pick the most natural and most
beneficial remedies from Nature and apply them to help people,
animals and even plants, grow and heal.
Never in my years as a Wiccan, have I ever seen nor heard any
Naturopaths or Homeopaths claim to be able to cure anything, just
to help it heal and if not heal then to relieve the sufferer.
Only the body can cure itself, Nature and Science just help it
along.
Granted they are not perfect but then nothing is.
