Hey Benny!

BP> base hardware on any raspberry pi
That has nothing to do with an existing 10" tablet already bought and paid for. Not that I know for sure, but there isn't a aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu distribution for it that could be installed to it over the existing aarch64-unknown-linux-android. There was talk of a replacement linux-gnu for certain Samsung devices. As for raspberry pi, there are already many regular linux-gnu based distributions and they supply the regular util-linux pkg with uuidgen and uuidparse. No need for python. :-)
BP> we both waiting for harmony os from huawei
We are? This comes as news to me.
BP> no need to root the os later :=)
Amen. I'll vote for that especially if it involves substituting "android" for "gnu". As long as gcc and friends are available then who cares about clang/clang++?
BP> new kernel 5.14.10
I still have some cleaning up to do before having a look. So far I am sticking with 5.10 kernels.
Life is good,
Maurice
