Shucks thanks.  It's the club that all the local bands want to play in.  With 
that said, they hire only about 10 bands on a rotating basis.  If you play 
there, you get a certain status amongst the bands.  Other bands always come 
down and check us out.  Some go as far as to write out our set lists.
None of the other bands have a singer even close to Dave.  Thus, we don't 
care about the status, we want better bucks and when we say we want the New 
Years gig, we want to get it.  This particular manager likes bands that kiss 
his ass, and we also don't do that.  Instead, we let the bar receipts and a 
packed house speak for us.  Some of the other bands that kiss his ass 
royally, hardly get the place 1/2 full anytime we've seen them.  Some of the 
bands are also pretty lame, and occasionally one will get fired.
We've got some good nights comming up, I'll post an update after the fact.
