G'day Bob,

Replying to a message of Bob Lawrence to Jeff Green on 24/05/97:

BL> Yep. It's very confusing... especially when I'm supposed to be
BL> writing software to produce it!

If your software is any good you might be able to sell it :-)

BL> I even saw some AVT stuff last night.

I've been gating avtech for as long as the other two echoes. Avtech died
down to an average of nine message a day for a little while. I was only
seeing about three or four messages a day as the rest were twitted from my
message bases.

BTW, my plan for when Paul moves over to Linux full time is:

Call Paul at 3:00am (UUCP)
Send my messages to Paul. Get any uucp replies from you etc.
Call John at 3:30am (Fido)
Gate uucp replies (+ my messages) to John in time for his main fido
        connection.
Call Dialix at 7:00am (UUCP)
This is for my personally gated newsgroups and email.
Call John at 8:00am (Fido)
Pick up the bulk of the fido mail after John's main fido connection.
Call Paul at 8:30am (UUCP)
Send the gated fido stuff to Paul.

Numerous personal voice, fax and ppp internet calls throughout the day and night :-)

This'll keep the mail flowing nicely at a minimal cost. The times may vary
a bit depending on Paul's schedule.
