According to some of the older Tsimpshean elders in Alaska I met, their
people came up from Central America along the Pacific Ocean.
According to one educated and intelligent Tlinget I met his people had
made three migrations from Alaska and had some records of them; two down
to California and the Redwood area by canoe, and one overland through
what is now Nez Perce territory.  The pictures in both that tribe and
the Alaskan work are identical.
From other sources we know that the natives in Central America and some
of the Pacific Islands are distant relatives of Egyptians.  That do tend
to get things back to Africa in a hurry.
