FiFTP is a specialized tool designed to move files from an FTPBone server to
your machine and upload replies. It also has capabilities to "mirror" remote
sites. It is not a general replacement for FTP, nor is it freeware. I believe
registration is $25us.
You probably are thinking of NcFTP which is a direct port of a freeware UNIX
tool of the same name. It has many features above and beyond OS2 base FTP. I
generally don't worry about restart as the only way I would need that would
be if I was trying to FTP, lost my connection and then got busy signals for
many minutes (900 seconds before NcFTP times out) keeping me from
re-establishing my PPP link.
