Depends on how you define 'outgunned'.  Given the
choice (which you never get) I much rather face someone
with a 15 shot 9mm then an 8 shot .45ACP or even a 5
shot 44 Mag/Spl.
But on the other hand, I would rather face an untrained
person armed with almost anything then a well trained
and skilled person armed with a 22 short.
