1237ab1b4fee tech Hello Wayne - CA>>> If I was hired to solve the problem I guarantee you it CA>>> would be solved. :-) WC>> Want to fix something, fix Rat Shack's web site, IMHO and WC>> several store people's opinion it sucks. CA>> Seems there is always some 'hotshot' in every company that CA>> thinks he/she is a 'webmaster' and they create some really CA>> strange overly complex crud out there. WC> It's not all that complex, just retarded. No comprehensive WC> PDF to download, the search engine failed to find the WC> catalog listing for either the CR2032 CMOS battery or WC> listing for the Teleprotector I was going to quote you the WC> current price for. Even the limited "battery finder" search WC> engine missed CR2032 but it's there on the site you just WC> have to look through ALL the batteries :-( "Teleprotector" WC> brought up several vague references but no price, picture WC> or description adaquate to match it to the device I have. CA>> Even companies wise enough to hire a pro will then insist CA>> on flash animation, overlays, frames, and other things CA>> that add little or nothing but complexity and crash older CA>> browsers. WC> And cause people like me who actually want to _find_ what WC> I'm looking for go elsewhere. My daughter does web design and has her own company as a sideline plus works as a manager for another company. She could take on Radio Shack (she has associates, graphics designers etc.). I could do it but would need my daughter's help locating specialists for a really 'pro' look. ;-) Problem is Tandy has a bad reputation dealing with outside contractors. They are notoriously cheap, anal control freaks, and have destroyed companies that weren't on guard when dealing with Tandy. It would be an 'adventure' or a 'war' but I would expect it to become extremely unpleasant and ugly. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
