To help slowdowns in Windows XP with BRE/FE/TAL.  Add this line to your 
RESOURCE.DAT file.  I had mine set to "automatic" and it would CHUG any 
windows apps I tried to run while the games were being played (dos apps ran 
fine tho) ... I changed the line to this


MultiTasker                             "Win-NT"



The Win-NT option helped GREATLY to these games as aparently they weren't 
detecting XP as they should have been.  Hope this helps someone out. ;)
