It makes no difference for playing back canned sounds such as .WAV files.
For MIDI files, the difference is striking.  It's like the difference between
a musical Christmas card and a real keyboard.
Of course, since the wavetable cards are also a generally higher-quality 
ard,
your .WAV files should sound better too.  :)
