The program is old, and mostly follows the WordPerfect 5.0/5.1
keystroke set (and the rest of the paradigm). The documentation
that I have comes from WordPerfect Office 2.0 (and perhaps 3.0).
You might find a doc file on WP's BBS. 801-225-4444.
F3 is the help key. You can get much of the "documentation"
backwards by first pressing F3 and then pressing each of the
function keys, in each of its shifted states, one at a time.
Ctrl-F5 is the key for shifting from ASCII text mode to binary
editing mode. You must be at the beginning of the file to make
the change. To use it as a macro editor, the file ED.MRS (for
editor macros) or WP.MRS (for wordperfect macros) must be
available where ed.exe can find it.
If you follow the search and replace paradigm, it will search
and replace for CR, LF, independently, in spite of the confusing
on-screen message(s). Ctrl-V precedes the insertion of a
literal keystroke. (Similar to Ctrl-P in many editors). In
ASCII mode, it will do what TSE does, change line endings to
CR/LF when you save.
I haven't tried to use it with a mouse. I suspect it doesn't
support a mouse.
