I drive a Ford Fusion.  It is a nice riding car but has very little
clearance underneath... too many unnecessary body pieces that hand too low
on the car and that drag on everything.  I was getting more at that than
the fact that it is 2WD.

That is sound advice.  I cannot see hitchhiking on a road that might not
have much traffic on it.  You might be out there a while.  :)

After I posted that, I saw a news article about it on youtube.  It was
posted back in April, I think, and they gave that same impression.  I got a
chuckle as the former mayor of Tuk, which was featured in the video clip,
looks a lot like one of my cousins.  :)

Do you monitor the Alaska or Canada chat echos?  I may have us straying a
little bit off topic from cooking here.  :)
