Paul. only by going back and forth between windows and linux manually deleteing the cunt-hatch line (i dont have a dos compress program) i have found an faq on the internals of uucp, i will try to upload it to john's board with this packet as uucp.txt. i also have a debug log of one of my seesions with you, when i have time (possibly tomorrow) i'll anotate it and post it, it shows the protocol quite well. btw, if you do a "man rmail" in linux, it explains "#! cunbatch", i'd post it for bob, but i dont know how to get a man page into a text file. as far as i can tell, uucp mail is sent uncompressed, but news is compressed, it looks like the program i am using thinks that it is getting mail (dumb russians!) keith @EOT: --- WinPoint 0.2.08 Alpha* Origin: Malfunction Junction (3:712/610.6) SEEN-BY: 711/934 712/610 @PATH: 712/610 711/934 |
