Not here, with Chris Wohlgemuth's WPS enhancement for folders. The folder
contents remain after the cd is removed and F5 and Refresh.

The report from an emptied tray is obviously incorrect .The report when a
blank or spoiled replacement has filled the now emptied tray  is also
wrong, but not obviously. .   Same behavior with a scsi cd writer and an
ide cd reader.

I'll report the bug to him.

When you replace a CD in the drive and the WPS doesn't update, press F5
for refresh. A blank CD will usually give an error message.

Look at the bottom of the CD in the light. You can see which ones are
burned and which are not.
