This time I would bet on order cancellations.  This has to really push back
the work in the A350.  Has to be all smiles at Boeing.  Seems like
desperation when talking about reducing aircraft development times from 8
to 6 years and gaining 20% in efficiency. How can you talk about reducing
development times after just sliding two years?

EADS on Tuesday night revealed the depth of the crisis in the Airbus A380
production programme when it announced a ƒ‚ª4.8bn profit warning and warned
of yet another year's delay in early deliveries of the world's biggest
passenger jet.

The profit warning was more than double the ƒ‚ª2bn figure announced less
than four months ago and follows an emergency review of the A380 programme
begun in July following the dismissal of several top executives at both
Airbus and EADS, the Franco-German parent company.
